Computer companies, or alternatively their component suppliers, are currently mainly working on NANO-LEDs that will be used for the integration of optoelectronic assemblies in microchips.

Our specialist are also tackling the research of this nanotechnology and are currently working on the development of a method in the area of NanoLight technology that is unique worldwide. In contrast to conventional LEDs, in which a crystal is responsible for the light, a conductive metal platelet is caused to illuminate in nanotechnology. This effect is created by processing these platelets by means of a laser that creates a structure out of so-called nanodots. These dots are then modulated by high-frequency and caused to illuminate. The decisive benefits of this technology are outstanding light and colour quality with very low energy consumption.

NANO lamps may be the future of light, but realistically speaking, we are still several years away from this. But - as we mentioned - we are working on it.
